Craig Michie - Chief Executive Officer

Craig is a qualified accountant and a member of the National Institute of Accountants in Australia. Craig has held senior executive positions with a number of banks and finance companies for in excess of 20 years. His career within the banking and finance sector is characterised by success in a number of portfolios both in terms of business development and credit management. He is an experienced balance sheet lender and has been involved in lending across a diverse range of industries and lending product. Craig sits on the board (as vice president) of the Australian Equipment Finance Association and has previously represented on the board of the Institute of Factors and Discounters for Australia and New Zealand.

Bernadine Geary - Chief Operating Officer

Bernadine is a qualified Australian chartered accountant; a graduate and Associate of the Institute of Credit Management (UK), a member of the Institute of Credit Management (Aust) and a member of the Mortgage Industry Association of Australia. She has over fourteen years experience in the factoring and discounting industry, which included establishing her own finance brokerage house, and a successful invoice financing business/trade finance business after having previously built another factoring/discounting business to a scale that allowed a successful floatation to the UK stock exchange.

Robert Clarke – Non Executive Director

Robert (Bob) Clarke has in excess of 30 years lending and management experience. Bob has a resume that provides testimony to expertise as a lender and he was considered the pre-eminent credit officer in a major bank. He presided over a debtor finance operation that saw debtor finance move from the finance sector to become an integral part of the bank's business banking product portfolio. He has "work out" expertise and was often called on by the bank to assist with complex recovery scenarios. His management ability is borne out by the success he achieved across a range of portfolios, the respect he enjoys from his peers and staff and the return he has provided to stake holders.

Chris Sheppard - National Operations Manager

Chris has been involved in the factoring and invoice discounting industry for more than twenty years and has previously held senior executive positions within the industry. Chris brings with him invaluable experience in all areas of debtor finance, including audit, operational, business development and customer relations.

Cellie Polintan – Group Accountant

Cellie is a qualified CPA and a member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIMM). Cellie brings a wealth of experience to Taurus with over 15 years as Financial Controller and Export Manager in the import/export manufacturing industry. Prior to this, she was State Auditor of Commission on Audit for over 10 years in the Philippines.

Ben Willox - State Manager, Victoria

Ben is a Certified Practising Accountant who has Bachelor degrees in Banking & Finance, and Accounting with over 15 years experience working for a number of large chartered accounting firms in Australia and the UK. Most of Ben's career has been spent advising and working on behalf of financial institutions in respect of business turnaround and exit strategies from financially distressed companies. Ben brings a detailed working knowledge and an understanding of the many problems faced by SME's and has had extensive experience in advising clients on leveraging their balance sheet to provide working capital solutions in a broad range of industries.

Jason Brock - State Manager, NSW

Jason is a qualified Accountant and has 18 years experience in the Factoring & Invoice Discounting industry. During this time he has been a major driving force in the success and growth of new portfolios with several major Banking institutions in a business development capacity. He is an experienced cashflow specialist. Having previously owned a successful family business, Jason has a good understanding of the demands and difficulties facing SME’s and an ability to tailor financial solutions to cater for their total working capital needs. Jason brings with him a great depth of industry knowledge having worked in sectors ranging from sales & business development, marketing, auditing, client management and credit control.
