Craig Michie - Chief Executive Officer

Craig was a founding director of Taurus Trade Finance, he is a qualified accountant and a member of the National Institute of Accountants in Australia. Craig has represented on the board of the Institute of Factors and Discounters of Australia and New Zealand as well as the Commercial Asset Finance Association of Australia. He is an experienced balance sheet lender and has held senior executive positions with a number of banks and finance companies. His career in finance spans a period in excess of 25 years and is one of Australia's leading working capital and debtor finance professionals.

Ben Willox - Chief Operating Officer

Ben is a Certified Practising Accountant who has Bachelor degrees in Banking & Finance, and Accounting with over 15 years experience working for a number of large chartered accounting firms in Australia and the UK. Most of Ben's career has been spent advising and working on behalf of financial institutions in respect of business turnaround and exit strategies from financially distressed companies. Ben brings a detailed working knowledge and an understanding of the many problems faced by SME's and has had extensive experience in advising clients on leveraging their balance sheet to provide working capital solutions in a broad range of industries.

Mark Moncrieff OAM - Chairman

Mark has had over 40 years experience in intensive agriculture. He has been a Director of the NSW Egg Marketing Board and The NSW Egg Corporation, Chairman of The NSW Egg Producers Co-Operative Ltd and a Director of Novo Foods Ltd. Mark has recently retired as a Director of Farm Pride Foods Ltd. Mark is a CPA with the status of Fellow and is a recipient of a Medal of the Order of Australia

Robert Clarke – Non Executive Director

Robert (Bob) Clarke has in excess of 30 years lending and management experience. Bob has a resume that provides testimony to expertise as a lender and he was considered the pre-eminent credit officer in a major bank. He presided over a debtor finance operation that saw debtor finance move from the finance sector to become an integral part of the bank's business banking product portfolio. He has "work out" expertise and was often called on by the bank to assist with complex recovery scenarios. His management ability is borne out by the success he achieved across a range of portfolios, the respect he enjoys from his peers and staff and the return he has provided to stake holders.

Cellie Polintan – Group Accountant

Cellie is a qualified CPA and a member of the Australian Institute of Management (AIMM). Cellie brings a wealth of experience to Taurus with over 15 years as Financial Controller and Export Manager in the import/export manufacturing industry. Prior to this, she was State Auditor of Commission on Audit for over 10 years in the Philippines.

Jason Brock - State Manager, NSW

Jason is a qualified Accountant and has 18 years experience in the Factoring & Invoice Discounting industry. During this time he has been a major driving force in the success and growth of new portfolios with several major Banking institutions in a business development capacity. He is an experienced cashflow specialist. Having previously owned a successful family business, Jason has a good understanding of the demands and difficulties facing SME's and an ability to tailor financial solutions to cater for their total working capital needs. Jason brings with him a great depth of industry knowledge having worked in sectors ranging from sales & business development, marketing, auditing, client management and credit control.

Steve Pollard - State Manager, QLD

Steve is an experienced finance specialist holding qualifications in Financial Services (Factoring and Discounting) and Sales Management. He has held senior positions with a number of banks and finance companies in Australia. In addition to his finance experienced Steve has also spent time as a self employed business operator and accordingly has an appreciation of what it takes to run a business. Steve's broad experience places him in an ideal position to understand the demands of our small and medium sized business clients and maintains an excellent rapport with clients and introducers.

Lily Wang – China Sales Executive

Liliy Wang is a qualified Senior Economist with the Chinese government Authority and holds a Certificate issued by Guangdong Province, Department of Professional Technology. Lily has more than twenty years experience in foreign trade business. Her experience includes ten years working as the manager of the Documents Department for a Government owned foreign trade company. Additionally Lily has ten years experience as the Senior Sales Manager with that Chinese Government owned Foreign Trade Company in China with an export turnover in excess of USD $100 million per annum. Lily’s brings to Taurus extensive experience and knowledge in Chinese foreign trade providing both Chinese and Australian clients professional advice and service on foreign trade documents, finance, quality assurance, sourcing and sales.
